Tails (French: Tails[1]) is a character that appears in the Sonic Adventures comic series published by Sirène. He is an anthropomorphic fox with a pair of twin-tails, and the partner to Sonic the Hedgehog.
Appearance
Tails is a young, anthropomorphic fox cub with a unique genetic mutation giving him two tails instead of one. He has mostly orange fur with white fur around his muzzle with cheek tufts, front torso, and the tips of his tails. He also has black eyes, triangular ears with white canals and three locks of hair on his forehead.
Typically, his attire consists of white gloves and shoes that are red from the heel to the middle and white from the middle to the toe.
History
Sonic Adventures: Dans Les Griffes De Robotnik
One time, Tails snuck onboard Dr. Robotnik's spaceship, where the doctor's Badniks had imprisoned Sonic. When Sonic eventually broke himself out and got out of Robotnik's spaceship with the Magical Emeralds that Robotnik tried to take from him, Tails caught Sonic just before he hit the surface of Mobius. The two of them proceeded down a river in order to escape Robotnik's forces who had been sent after them. Eventually though, they reached an ancient echidna city where they got captured by the inhabitants. Just as the echidnas' ruler and keeper of the Grey Emerald, Princess Alucion, prepared to execute Tails and Sonic by sending them down slides leading into a lava lake, Robotnik and his forces appeared and attacked the city. Tails managed to escape though, but returned in time to rescue Sonic before he fell into the city's lava lake.
Immediately after though, Badniks arrived with Amy Rose in tow. Despite Tails warning Sonic that it was a trap, Sonic went after Amy, only for the two hedgehog to fall into a nearly volcano due to Robotnik's interference. Heartbroken, Tails cursed Robotnik before heading to Green Hill to tell the others of the fate that had befallen his friends. During the following night however, Tails would meet up with Sonic and Amy again, as they return from the Special Stage. Overjoyed, Tails went to meet them. As he asked how they survived though, Sonic, in Golden Armor, showed him by demonstrating the armor's powers, making Tails realized that Sonic had cleared the Challenge of the seven Emeralds.[1]

Personality
Tails is a kind and loyal fox cub who is ready to help his friends at a moment's notice. However, he is far from reckless and usually serves as the voice of respect and reason for Sonic.[1]
Powers and abilities
Gifted with a pair of twin tails, Tails can utilize these unique appendages to achieve flight by twirling them around like rotary blades, similar to a helicopter.[1]
