Pros: Genially is our main platform to create, edit and present all kinds of presentations, infographics, brochures or simply generate designs to expand our publicity and sales. What I like the most about Genially is that it has a large list of templates with which I can give my designs a better tonality, it currently has more than 1000 templates available and these are available in the paid version. Another thing that I like is that I can add animations to the objects that are on my slide, previously in other presentation software, I couldn't add effects or transitions, but with the help of Genially this has changed, I can make the texts moving from one side to another or having the images change places using this software, it's amazing.

Cons: When we started using Genially we had several problems because we did not understand how the effects and transitions system worked, there is no tutorial for this in Genially, since the initial tutorial is quite basic and only shows how to insert objects and new texts. I would like a more complete tutorial explaining how to use the effects, luckily the support team was there to address my concerns when I didn't know how to apply the effects.

Overall: In general, Genially is a platform that is quite easy to use, from the first moment we started using it we achieved innovative designs for our sector and this helped our advertising to be even more impressive. We had little trouble with the effects system because we didn't know how it worked and made several mistakes applying these effects, however we managed to learn how to use them. Genially should add a more complete guide or tutorial to teach how to use all the features of the platform. Our overall experience was quite warm, Genially helped us create maps, catalogs, and various infographics that helped us present information to all our clients with more eye-catching designs. I thank Genially for the results it provided from the first moment.

Pros: Fairly intuitive, and the more I explore, the more I realize how many options it gives you. Really amazing.

Cons: None found yet. I’m just getting my feet wet and have had no issues so far.

Overall: I use Genially to make infographics and interactive images at the nonprofit I work for. I’m still pretty new to the tool, but after watching a few mini tutorials online, it’s become easy to use. My presentations and graphics are turning out great!

Pros: The price is right, hundreds of templates save us time, easy to embed external material and send potential clients to our company’s social media pages and website.

Cons: Some of the options are hidden, so it took our team a tutorial or two to realize all of the options available within the editor.

Overall: Genially has become one of our most valuable tools when creating marketing material for our company. We’ve been using it for about a year now, and it just keeps getting better. We use it to make all sorts of material for campaigns as well as for our official dossier and additional elements we could easily insert into our homepage. Genially gives you the HTML5 code for each creation, which makes it easy to incorporate on our website.

Pros: Everything. The tool is really easy to use and works perfectly with the ones I already use. I can put everything together in one place with Genially.

Cons: I didn’t know about this sooner. It would have saved me so much time.

Overall: As a designer, I don’t usually use tools other than Photoshop and Illustrator, but Genially works great for me. I can create my elements in my normal programs and then upload them into Genially to put them together, animate sections and add layers to my creations. I use the video presentation option all the time to design animated carousels for clients that work perfectly on their websites.
Is now a good time?

Pros: Interactive image option makes it easy to get started with the tool. Plus, you have tons of other creation types available!

Cons: Multiple users can work on the same genially but currently not all at once. The Genially Team has told us their developers are working on this though, and we’re so excited!

Overall: I’ve started using Genially in the classroom, and my kids love it! We explore interactive images together on the digital whiteboard, and I use them to introduce all my new topics. I used to use ThingLink, and when they started charging, I was devastated. Then I found out about Genially! The best part is that I can also make other kinds of creations with Genially that I could never have made with Thinglink! If you’re a teacher looking for an alternative to ThingLink, you NEED to check out Genially!!!!

Pros: The possibilities for creations are endless. I've used Genially to create corporate eLearning courses as well as personal invitations and everything in between.
For my eLearning courses, I found Genially MUCH easier to use than some other authoring tools and the interface is extremely user friendly. I've actually embedded geniallys into eLearning courses authored with other tools to give them additional interactivity and improve the aesthetics.
I love that Genially allows you to easily personalize your creations with your own or corporate fonts, colors, images. logos, etc. It makes it easy to stay on brand and maintain a high level of professionalism in your creations.

Cons: So far, I haven't found anything I don't love about Genially. If you don't have any experience with other content creation tools, it might take you a little bit to feel comfortable with the tool, but there are lots of tutorials and help center articles to help you out.

Overall: Overall, I have had a great experience using Genially. It has a ton of potential for the future as well as there are always new templates and resources released. I'm looking forward to continue using the tool for my eLearning courses and sharing them with others.

Pros: Everything! Free or inexpensive paid options. A million template options and freedom to start from scratch. Animating content and adding interaction options is simple.

Cons: Takes a while to learn without help BUT I highly recommend watching two or three of the “microtutorials” on Genially’s Youtube channel. Made me an expert fast.

Overall: I used to use a bunch of other tools to create the variety of creation types I make with Genially. Now, I make presentations, interactive images and infographics with the same tool. Plus, I can animate any of the elements included, modify the dimensions of my work, and add buttons where you can click to activate a window I fill with videos and text. I recommend it to everyone!

Pros: 1. Free option in extensive AND paid options are much cheaper than competitors
2. One tool does everything, so you only have to learn once
3. You can add corporate logos, colors, watermarks, etc. quickly within the Brand option
4. You can insert Youtube videos, mp3s and other audios, PDFs, images, etc. in seconds

Cons: If I had to nitpick something, I'd like for more clear categories within the interface. That said, the recent addition of a search option where you can look for templates using keywords has all but solved this for me.

Overall: Genially has blown all my expectations out of the water. I began using it in the Free version and was stunned by the level of material I could make. Since upgrading to a Premium plan, I've been even happier. I'd looked at ALL sorts of competitor options, and nothing comes close in terms of price and quality. I use Genially to make presentations, infographics, conference and other event materials.. basically every kind of visual creation I'd ever need. My boss has been so impressed that she's buying a Team Plan for the office for 2020! Keep it up, Genially!
