Dr. Kelpington is holding the snail to his side while vaporizing Fred's leg with a laser during the montage the doctor shows Fred of his leg being broken.

He appears with Dr. Kelpington in the movie A Few Fish to Fry, where he watches Dr. Kelpington try to deep fry Sal.

Dr. Kelpington is seen carrying his snail while attending the Doomsday Device Expo in Shell City.
