Synopsis
One morning, Regigille prepares an elaborate breakfast for Lady Upturn, Rea, and Roh. However, Upturn turns down the meal and requests pancakes instead, so Regigille sets their tea aside and throws the food away. When he serves the tea and pancakes, Upturn notices that the tea's temperature has dropped by two degrees. Deeming it imperfect, she fires Regigille. In his stead, she hires SpongeBob as a replacement butler after he applies.
Regigille retreats into the forest, when Nobby and Narlene come across him. They invite him over to their cabin in the woods for food. However, Regigille is unsettled by how dirty and laid-back their lifestyle is. Meanwhile, SpongeBob serves Upturn some perfect tea, and she gives him tasks that Regigille would normally complete. He starts by using the washing machine, but loads various strange objects into it instead.
Nobby and Narlene wake up to find that Regigille had been cleaning their home. Narlene reassures him that they let nature take care of everything for them, letting wind blow the trash out of the house and having their mule lick dishes to clean them. Back at camp, SpongeBob's floor cleaning leaves it slippery and covered in soap suds, and Upturn is disgusted when she learns that he licks the tea to test the temperature. She has SpongeBob fired and tries to find Regigille.
Regigille has become accustomed to the hillbilly lifestyle, when Upturn, Rea, and Roh come into the cabin. Narlene declares that they will decide who gets to keep Regigille through a foot-wrestling match. After a tough battle, Narlene comes out on top. Upon seeing that Upturn is sad, and realizing that she put in effort to get him back, Regigille decides to return to her. Nobby and Narlene tell him that he is welcome back to their cabin anytime. The next morning, Regigille does the dishes, with SpongeBob licking them clean in the same fashion the sea mule did.

Production notes
Yeardley Wells:
- Wells said that "Regigille spinning with the garbage was fun to figure out!" and that it was "it's always super cool seeing the 3D spin rigs for these characters."[5]
- Overall, she thought the episode was "a fun one to work on!"[9]
Brandon Warren:
- "[The opening sequence] was boarded by Ken Mitchroney and then plussed by Erik Letchenberg. We took Ken’s work and expanded it to show that Regi (the rich kid’s butler) is extremely competent and skilled but completely taken for granted by the rich kids. I wanted to capture the feeling a parent gets when cooking a nice meal for their children… hahaha. It was a fun bit of character centric storytelling to set up the episode and always makes me laugh because there is such a long build up and then a quick dump into the trash can! I love working with my creative team!"[6]
- Warren explained how the scene of SpongeBob taking his first shot at being a butler landed in the episode. "Our entire plussing team workshopped silly ideas together and then Zaven Leonetti did a marvelous job storyboarding the sequence. It has that classic SpongeBob silliness and I love how it turned out!"[7]
- Warren used the foot-wrestling scene as a breakdown of the series' storyboarding process. "On Kamp Koral we storyboard directors have a few weeks to take the first draft of the board and "plus" it to make it even better. This episode was the first that I felt comfortable enough to make some pretty drastic changes."[1]
- "Mike Dougherty did an excellent job storyboarding the first draft, and gave us an incredible jumping off point. But to increase the comedy even more, I had the idea to really push the shots and cinematography for the toe wrestling section and to push the absurdity by making the feet act more like human WWF wrestlers. I was aiming for "Raging Bull" but with feet instead of DeNiro. My plussing artist, Zaven Leonetti executed my vision better than I even imagined to make this a silly and stupid sequence! And it was fun working with Dylan Hoffman and the CG team to figure out a way to make this idea work. The final lighting touches by John Cahoon and his lighting team really got that Raging Bull feel I was looking for. I love how it turned out!"[1]
