Crew

Role in episode

Mr. Krabs invites SpongeBob and Squidward to go to the beach to ride on his yacht. The next day, SpongeBob and Squidward arrive at Goo Lagoon where they see no yacht. Mr. Krabs reveals that there is "some" assembly required, and grabs the assembly kit. He makes SpongeBob and Squidward build it while he claims to be supervising, when he really is just taking a nap.

While Squidward looks for the instructions, many objects hit him in the process. SpongeBob ends up finding them but they fly away and get destroyed. They continue to build the yacht without any instructions. They begin building the yacht and SpongeBob makes the yacht's mast, floating, but it falls onto Squidward pushing him into the ground. Squidward tells SpongeBob that he should start with the frame and SpongeBob pulls him out with a large hammer. They start building the frame with wooden planks but Squidward gets smacked in the face by a plank after bending it, causing him to get flung. SpongeBob tickles the wooden plank, making it laugh, then bend up. Squidward regrets that, but gets smacked again by the wooden plank. Many frame-building attempts later, they carry on trying to build the yacht, showing as if the yacht frame was not pre-made. SpongeBob says "we did it, Squidward! Put 'er there!," making Squidward handshake him, but the yacht frame collapses. Squidward dances to dodge the planks, but he gets hit by the last one, hitting Mr. Krabs' beach umbrella.

After all the trouble SpongeBob and Squidward went through trying to build the frame, Mr. Krabs pulls a pre-built one out of the box. They carry on with building the yacht with the pre-built frame. SpongeBob works from the top while Squidward works on the ground. SpongeBob keeps causing wood planks to hit Squidward, so he makes them switch places. Despite this, objects keep falling on Squidward. At this point, Squidward makes SpongeBob work right aside him so he can keep an eye on him. After multiple attempts, the yacht is complete, albeit in rough condition. Mr. Krabs dumps white paint on the yacht and it transforms into what it looks like on the box. Mr. Krabs reveals the name of the yacht to be the "S.S. Sea-cret Formula."

SpongeBob and Squidward pull the S.S. Sea-cret Formula in the water while Mr. Krabs watches on from the bow. Once it is in the water, Squidward starts to relax. Then Mr. Krabs reveals that they still have work to do and brings out the topsail, which has the Krusty Krab logo on it. Patrick gets his order and then dives into the water. SpongeBob serves Krabby Patties to multiple Bikini Bottomites. SpongeBob notices Bubble Bass swimming ahead and sounds an alarm. Bubble Bass ends up scraping against the side of the yacht, which causes it to sink. As the sun goes down, the wise kraken lifts up from the water with the yacht in hand and demands all of the Krabby Patties they have.
