Cognate with Saterland Frisian bee (“both”), West Frisian beide (“both”), Холандски beide (“both”), Немачки beide (“both”), Шведски både, båda, Дански både, Норвешки både, Icelandic báðir. Replaced Средњи Енглески bō from a form of Стари Енглески bēġen.
