This article is about the classification of organism. You may be looking for the aquatic vessel known as an Amphibion.
Amphibians, also known as amphiboids,[1] were species that could live both on land and underwater, or had two stages of life, one that is completely water-based, the other land-based. Some amphibious creatures were born as gill-breathing tadpoles and evolved into air-breathing adults. Others had compound lungs allowing them to breathe underwater and on land.[2] The Shawda Ubb of the planet Manpha were amphibians,[3] as were the Nautolans of Glee Anselm,[4] the Aqualish of Ando, the Mon Calamari and Quarren of Dac,[5] the Gungans of Naboo[6] and the Ootoolans of Ootoola.[7]
