The Jawa Trader

The Jawa Trader, originally titled simply Jawa Trader, was a recurring department in early issues of Star Wars Insider. It listed a wide variety of Star Wars merchandise available to order over the course of usually a half dozen or more pages.

The pages included mail-in order forms until Star Wars Insider 36, after which only a phone number or website address was displayed for ordering. It was an updated version of The Lucasfilm Fan Club Merchandise Catalog that appeared when the magazine was still named The Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine. The department was discontinued after Star Wars Insider 67.

It was later succeeded by departments such as Toy Box, Jawa's Corner and Blaster, which discussed upcoming and new merchandise and broke the section up into topics such as comics and books. Those departments no longer included options for buying merchandise.
