The Lovola system was located in the Rifle Worlds, an area of the Hapes Cluster in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim. It was connected by the hyperlane known as the Great Rim Route to the Rifle Worlds' Maires system as well as the Ket system in the Lorelli Reach.[1] The Lovola system was the origin point of the Lovolan company.[2][3]

The Lovola system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-9.[1]
