The Galactic Empire had a communications station located on the planet Malastare. During the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic destroyed the station during the Battle of Malastare[1] after it was scouted by Commander Wedge Antilles.[2] According to General Jylia Shale, the destruction of the station lost the Empire its meager hold over the world.[1]
