Sunshine Dobbs, the Force welcomes you freely."
"Ah, you must be the Mother."
"Please. Call me Elecia. The Mother is a title, not the name I go by.Elecia Zeveron and Radicaz Dobbs
Mother or Clan Mother,[8] or alternatively a Matron,[5] was the title given to a leader in various cultures. After becoming leader of the Path of the Open Hand cult, Elecia Zeveron took on the title of "the Mother," taking the place of leadership once held by "the Herald" Werth Plouth. She was assisted in leading the Path by the Council of Elders, but she kept much of her activity and plans secret from both the Herald and the Council.[7] During the High Republic Era, Aniseya and Koril held the title of Mother in their coven of witches.[9] Seven years before the Clone Wars, Mother Pran was the leader of the Open, a faction of humans that lived on the planet Carnelion IV.[3]
During the Clone Wars, Talzin held the title of Mother and served as the spiritual guide of the Nightsisters of Dathomir. Prior to their near-destruction, Mother Talzin was sought out by the Nightsisters for advice. As Mother, and the most powerful witch in the order, Talzin handled all interactions with the outside galaxy.[1] The Mustafarian priestess, Sssl of Clan Rrrt and Aniseya, the leader of a coven of witches, held the title.[6][10]
