Paul Valentine Birkby (May 2, 1941 – June 3, 2019) was an English actor who provided the voice of Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin in Star Wars: Empire at War, as well as for Tremel, a character who appears prominently in the early stages of the Sith Warrior storyline of Star Wars: The Old Republic. He was known for his role as Kerr Avon on the British television series Blake's 7.
