Phase I ARF armor was the standard issue armor of the Advanced Recon Force Scout Troopers, a special branch of clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic.[2] It was later replaced by the Phase II ARF armor.[4]
Behind the scenes
Phase I ARF armor first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars film as the design for an Advanced Recon Force Scout Trooper, albeit unnamed. It was later revealed as the Phase I ARF armor in a post on Star Wars Battlefront II website.[2]
