Prefabricated ground bases[1] were employed by the Galactic Republic, its successor state, the Galactic Empire,[2] and its successor, the First Order,[1] as part of their military. The Republic Military used prefab buildings during the Clone Wars, allowing the Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, who fought for the Republic in the war as a commander, to memorize the standard prefab building's layout. The Empire that replaced the Republic made use of monotonous assets in their military, continuing to use prefab buildings of a style used in the Clone Wars in the Outer Rim Territories at least until one year after the galactic conflict's end[2] in 19 BBY.[3]
A prefabricated ground base was carried aboard each Resurgent-class Star Destroyer of the First Order military. The base was kept in several pieces near the Star Destroyer's hangar, and could be deployed rapidly.[1]
