The Rakton campaign was a military campaign conducted by the Republic Special Forces Division during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire that _targeted General Arkos Rakton. After the Battle of the Gauntlet, Rakton attacked the Republic in force, and Havoc Squad carried out a number of missions to foil Rakton's plans before defeating him at the Bastion during the Battle of Corellia.

Annihilation establishes that the Treaty of Coruscant collapsed approximately eighteen months prior, or in 3641 BBY, and as Act III occurs after the treaty's collapse, the act begins sometime between 3641 BBY and 3640 BBY. This article assumes that Belsavis, as the start of Act III, takes place around the end of 3641 BBY.
