Rocket packs[1] were personal travel devices worn on the back that were propelled by rockets. During the Clone Wars, B1-series rocket battle droids were equipped with such devices.[2] While Milo and Lina Graf's starship, the Whisper Bird, was about to crash on an ice moon in the Xala system, Milo suggested using rocket packs to evacuate, but Lina refused to do.[1]
