Star Wars Insider 77 is the seventy-seventh issue of Star Wars Insider magazine. It was released to newsstands on August 3, 2004. This marked the first Star Wars Insider issue published by IDG Entertainment as well as the first overseen by chief editor Brett Rector.
Beginning with issue 77, Star Wars Insider implemented the fan newsletter Bantha Tracks as a regular department of the magazine, and also introduced with each new issue exclusive supplementary content online through the StarWars.com Hyperspace feature.
