"Tatooine Debriefing" is a short story originally published in the Galaxy Guide 1: A New Hope. It was later included in The Movie Trilogy Sourcebook.
Plot summary
The story is an excerpt from the personal audio report of Stormtrooper commander DSS-0956, recounting his search for C-3PO and R2-D2 during the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The report was released to Rebel Alliance historian Voren Na'al by the Rebel Spy Network.
