The Righteous[4] was a Venator-class Star Destroyer that served in the Republic Navy.[1] The Righteous fell in battle with the acclaimed Admiral Trench prior to the Battle of Christophsis[4] of 22 BBY.[3] As a member of the Venator-class, it was 1,137 meters in length.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Righteous first appeared, labeled on a computer screen, in "Cat and Mouse," the sixteenth episode of the second season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. The ship's name was written in Aurebesh in the episode,[1] and the English translation was revealed in the corresponding episode guide on StarWars.com.[4]
