Tolis was a planet in Wild Space home to the Tolemites, a species who worshiped the Peace and lived around twenty thousand years before the High Republic Era. The Tolemites brought back the creatures later known as the Nameless on an expedition to a planet, resulting in the creatures becoming corrupted and the plague known as the blight emerging on Tolis. The Tolemite civilization was destroyed as a result, and the survivors fled to an isolated island on Tolis to found a new kingdom. They were able to construct three rods that allowed them to control the Nameless and guide them back to their world, as well as build a repository to tell their story; however, the Tolemites' new nation was destroyed by a flood that resulted in much of Tolis becoming covered in a vast ocean, and Tolis and its people fell into legend. Thousands of years later, the former Jedi Master Cohmac Vitus and Jedi Knight Reath Silas uncovered the location of Tolis and embarked on a mission to the world, hoping to uncover the Tolemites' knowledge of the Nameless and the blight.[1]
