Andrés Muschietti (born 26 August 1973) is an Argentine film director and screenwriter, best known for directing the 2013 horror film Mama and the 2017 film adaptation of Stephen King's novel It. Muschietti is also directing the second chapter which is scheduled to be released theatrically in September 2019.
