Description

Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing punch, Alex alternates twice between punches and backhand chops, and then grabs the opponent and performs a release suplex throw on them. The attack inflicts moderate damage and the throw at the end will miss if Alex was not close enough when the attack began, leaving Alex vulnerable to retaliation in its recovery. Conversely, the grab can still connect even if the initial strikes whiff or are blocked/parried in which case it becomes a powerful version of the standard Power Bomb as the opponent isn't turned around by the second backhand chop. Boomerang Raid has two stocks, and the Super Art allows for the most EX Specials of all his Super Arts.

Tactics

This Super Art is considered Alex's most useful option due to having multiple bars and being a hit super rather than a grab. However, Boomerang Raid is unfortunately prone to falling out should the opponent be hit by the edge of the super, causing the grab to whiff and leave Alex vulnerable. Because of the unreliability of the move, this Super Art is often picked solely for the EX moves combined with the occasional threat of the attack itself.
