Hibike kagayaku FUTURE FUTURE Hey
You mutter under your breath
that you're feeling envious (don't feel so down)
But even on such cloudy days
A brand new day is coming your way.
(Come on!) The future, it spreads out so wide
(It's ringing!) So just keep looking
To the future, even when it's raining
Cause sunny days are on the way
Everybody ring-a-ding! Don't you wait, just jump, jump up!
With every chime a new dream will come true
Everybody clap your hands! Come on now, look, look up!
You've gotta connect it with your own sound
Hear it ringing into the future, future, hey!
Everybody ring-a-ding! Don't you wait, just jump, jump up!
With every chime a new dream will come true
Everybody clap your hands! Come on now, look, look up!
You've gotta connect it with your own sound
Hear it ringing into the future, future, hey!
Ring, ring, ring the bell! Ring, ring-a-ding! (Oh oh oh)
Ring, ring, ring the bell! Ring, ring-a-ding! (Oh oh oh)
"Ice Climber (Brawl)" Lyrics
Hey, guys! It's Ice Climber. Well, I'll show you how to move. Get rhythm with your friends, and rock the iceberg!
Trivia
- The songs, "Ice Climber (Brawl)" and "Ring a Ding," are the only two songs to feature lyrics.
- The aforementioned dialogue is implied to be said by Nana ("Hey, guys! Well, I'll show you how to move. Get rhythm with your friends, and rock the iceberg!") and Popo ("It's Ice Climber."), although the latter's voice pitch is considered to be too low.
- Nana saying, "Rock the iceberg!" near the end of the dialogue likely references the duo being able to summon the iceberg in their Final Smash.
- All of the following Ice Climber songs have their instruments originate from jazzy retro jingles from the original series, to be arranged into aesthetic jazz-influenced orchestrations in the Super Smash Bros. series, making the Ice Climbers the only characters and veterans with music of this trait.
- Both songs, "Ice Climber (Brawl)" and "Icicle Mountain," are designed to sync up with the motions of the stage, "Summit." However, later loops will desynchronize the track, as will altering the gameplay speed and pausing the game.
- The following songs have been used in trailers, but do not appear in any Smash game:
- "Beginning (VF2)" from Virtua Fighter 2, which was used in the "Mii Fighters Suit Up for Wave Two" trailer for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and the "Extra Mii Fighter Costumes - Round 4" trailer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
- "Town" from Ganbare Goemon! Karakuri Dōchū, which was used in the "Extra Mii Fighter Costumes - Round 3" trailer for Ultimate.
- "Ezio's Family" from Assassin's Creed II, which was used in the "Extra Mii Fighter Costumes - Round 5" trailer for Ultimate.
- "Main Theme" from Fallout 4, which was used in the "Extra Mii Fighter Costumes - Round 6" trailer for Ultimate.
- "Grand Prix Battle Stage - Central" from Super Bomberman R and "N.M.H." from No More Heroes, both of which were used in the "Extra Mii Fighter Costumes - Round 7" trailer for Ultimate.
- "Ghosts 'n Goblins Theme Song" from Ghosts 'n Goblins, which was used in the "Extra Mii Fighter Costumes - Round 9" trailer for Ultimate.
- "Dragonborn" from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and "Public Enemy (Battle Theme 1)" from Devil May Cry, both of which were used in the "Extra Mii Fighter Costumes - Round 10" trailer for Ultimate.
- "At Doom's Gate" from DOOM (2016), which was used in the "Extra Mii Fighter Costumes - Round 11" trailer for Ultimate.
- The tracks from the Culdcept series, Soma Bringer, and Style Savvy: Styling Star are owned by either organizations or their composer rather than the owner of the IPs. They share this unique distinction with the music from the first two Sonic the Hedgehog games, the promotional singles from Pikmin, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and the Dragon Quest series.
- For unknown reasons, the song "Battle Scene / Final Boss" from Golden Sun will loop back to the Final Boss section instead of the song's beginning.
- Every song included in the "Famicom Medley" from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U has had its own remix in the Smash games.
- "Ring a Ding" is the first multi-language track in Smash Bros.
- Toby Fox, creator and composer of Undertale who remixed his song "MEGALOVANIA", is one of two Western composers to make music for Smash Bros., the other being Grant Kirkhope and his remix of "Spiral Mountain".
- "MEGALOVANIA" is the first song to come from fanmade content, as Toby Fox initially made it for his EarthBound mod, The Halloween Hack.
- "MEGALOVANIA", "Floral Fury", and "Burning Town" are the first DLC tracks to come with Mii Fighter Costumes.
