Category Page

This is the sex and gender category.

For information on sexual activity, see category:Sexuality and category:Sexual reproduction.

Classifications:

  • + is information which contains more than two sexes or genders.
  • 0 is for information where absolutely no sex or gender is present.
  • 1 means single sex or single gender.
  • 2 means binary sex or binary gender.
  • F indicates topics related to girls, women or femininity, plus hormones which tend to be associated here.
  • M indicates topics related to boys, men or masculinity, plus hormones which tend to be associated here.
  • X signifies a gender other than male or female.
  • I signifies a sex other than male or female (as in intersex).

More classifications, such as 3 for trinary, may be proposed in the talk page, and added as necessary by an admin.

Instructions
To add a category or page with correct classification, use the following format...
[[Category:Sex and gender|Z.9]]
...replacing Z with whichever classifier is most correct.
If a more primary topic, replace 9 with any number between 1 and 8. Use lower numbers sparingly, and with care for the other items around yours.
