North West Historical Society (tie-in website)

North West Historical Society was a website released on 27 April 2011 to coincide with the immersive experience The Crash of the Elysium, one of two websites created at that time. On the same day, the official website for the experience added a link to North West Historical Society and Daryl the Diver.[1]

As with all of the marketing for the experience, the DWU elements of the website was kept vague to maintain the illusion that the Elysium was actually real;[1] this was the only one of the two tie-in websites to make use of pre-existing DWU elements, with the short story Pride of Mayfield Star Lines Beached in Devastating Storm indirectly mentioning a Weeping Angel.
