Go Sugar is a move used by Leroy Smith since Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. Notably, the attack can fail on occasion.
Description
Leroy crouches down and beckons behind him to summon his dog, Sugar, to the screen. If the attack is successful, Sugar will run into the opponent's feet. If the attack is unsuccessful, Sugar will stop short of the opponent, sit down, and turn back around to leave in the direction she was summoned from.
If Sugar is currently out, Leroy cannot call her again until she fully exits the screen.
In Tekken 8, if the move is used while Leroy is in Heat, it will always succeed and Sugar will launch the opponent high into the air.
Trivia
- If Sugar interacts with a generic projectile such as Hwoarang's Toothy Grin Helmet Item Move or Geese Howard's Reppuu Ken, she will collide with the object and will simply run through the opponent without causing damage. As she runs on the ground, she will go under Akuma's Gohadouken. Strong projectiles like the Raigou Reppuu Ken will still run through Sugar.
