Synopsis
In the early days of the Great War, Megatron believes he can achieve a fast victory by taking the Autobots' power base of Iacon. He tasks Onslaught and Dead End with breaching the city's defenses, and though Warpath and Bumblebee rush to counter their attack, things look bleak for the Autobots.
Until, that is, the Decepticons realize that the rumbling they're hearing is not the collapse of the city under their pounding, it's the city transforming! The mighty Metroplex stands among the rubble, ready to defend the city to his last quart of energon. In the end, Iacon stands and the battle moves to the skies: Autobots and Decepticon flee the planet as it dies and wonder if they'll ever be able to return.

Notes
- This is the second team battle event. A number of changes were implemented in response to criticisms raised during the previous event, including non-active members of teams being kicked off at the end of each day. The limits by which the game treated players as "non-active" were pretty low, however. While the previous event only rewarded cards after four day wins, this event included cards from the first day win onwards.
- Not for the first time, the cards all use War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron character designs, with the story itself based on the opening missions of Fall of Cybertron, though notably that game is set in the dying days of the war, not early on. Metroplex is also noted to be "heeding the call of the last Prime", though it's previously been established that Rodimus Prime exists in this continuity, and Optimus is therefore not the last Prime!
- Metroplex is so important he gets two different sets of cards - an R5 set and an R6 set.
- The prologue is pretty clear the war's just begun, and the epilogue ends with the exodus from the planet. Was that just the shortest war ever?
- Players were surprised to discover that they only received cards for their last day victory and had missed out on the reward cards for previous days. Mobage later asserted this was correct, even though it meant winning two days would actually reward you less than winning one (half a Metroplex versus half a Metroplex and his weapon). As a loyalty gift, players were later gifted a set of Onslaught cards along with battle cubes and transmetal resources.
- Also some people reported getting 30 copies of the Warpath reward card. But really, the way Mobage tries to squeeze every cent out of you, who's complaining?
