B.H. came to C.L. and Arc for help when he was being chased by Scraplets, but they ignored his pleas at first as they felt he could stand to lose a few pounds by running. Arc advised that going somewhere cold would kill them, but after C.L. pointed out that there's no such place in Tateishi the two decided to combine into a Combo Weapon and exterminate the pests instead. Unfortunately they slotted into each other the wrong way (ow) and didn't form anything useful. Freezing Transformation!? Terror of the Minicons When B.H. told them he wanted to become stronger, C.L. suggested that them and Arc practice combining together. They successfully combined into the Galaxy Launcher only to end up wrecking the studio in their excitement. Secret Sword Transformation! Introducing Wheeljack
During an attack from the Decepticon Arms Microns, C.L. and the other Autobot Arms Microns (including two O.P.s) weapon-linked with Arc to form a mess of guns that she called "Fire Galaxy Super God Star Arc". Phantom Transformation! Skyquake Returns He was present when Gora tried to propose to Arc, which he thought was silly. So did Arc, who put her suitor through the wringer by making him show off different combined modes and criticizing each one, causing C.L. to opine that girls can be scary. Strategy Transformation! Unravel the Sinister Thread! Later, when O.P. was refusing to open a mysterious box, Arc got C.L. and B.H. to combine with her into a weapon to threaten him with. Giant God Transformation! The Advance of Gaia Unicron
C.L. and B.B. later met Ida, who was eager to show off her knowledge of weapon-linking and combined with them to form the Black Widow Claw Combo Weapon. Except, as C.L. had to point out, it wasn't a Combo Weapon since Ida's energon crystal was the same shape as his. During all this he also had to repeatedly remind a smitten B.B. that the new girl was a spider, which is nothing to fawn over. Hopeful Transformation! Aim for Planet Cybertron
When Arms Micron Theater ended, C.L. and the rest of the Arms Microns all got together to say goodbye to their audience. Ultimate Transformation! Fight! Transformers
Toys
Prime
- Cliffjumper (Deluxe, 2012)
- Set ID number: AM-03
- Micron ID number: M-03
- Release date: March 31, 2012
- Energon Crystal: AP Fast
- Released in the first wave of the main TakaraTomy Prime toyline, C.L. transforms from a humanoid robot into an over-sized version of Cliffjumper's in-show triple-barreled cannon. He has numerous 5 mm posts and holes that allow him to combine with other Arms Microns to form any number of combined weapons.
- He was only available packed in with Cliffjumper, coming out of the package as a bunch of unpainted parts on runners, like a model kit. His extra deco is provided by customer-applied foil stickers on a sheet he shares with Optimus.
- This mold was also used to make Rain.
- Shadow C.L. (Arms Micron, 2012)
- Release date: April 28, 2012
- Energon Crystal: AP Fake Dark
- A transparent-black promotional version of C.L. with a bright purple Energon Crystal was made available on April 28 of 2012 at participating Toys"R"Us stores, with the purchase of 3000 yen's worth of Prime toys. Just like the pack-in version, C.L. comes as an unassembled kit. However, this version lacks most of his stickers, coming only with a single one: the Autobot insignia that fits under his Energon Crystal.
- C.L. GR (AMW Micron, 2012)
- ID number: AMW-04
- Release date: July 28, 2012
- Energon Crystal: AP Fast
- An olive-green redeco of C.L. was sold in the first wave of the AMW (Arms Micron Weapon) series, unassembled Micron kits sold in individual baggies with a foil sticker sheet for added deco. As he retains the same Energon Crystal type as the original C.L., he can be "appropriately" substituted into any Super Combo Weapon that has C.L. as a component.
