Devil Power

Devil Power (デビルパワー Debiru Pawā) is the mysterious alien energy commanded by Decepticon emperor Devil Z. The full extent of Devil Power's effects have not been documented, but it has been seen to generate effects as diverse as the reanimation of the dead, the physical transformation of lifeforms, the creation of interdimensional subspace, and for good old-fashioned blastin' of folks. Devil Power takes no one particular form, having been projected as waves, beams and lightning bolts of multiple colors.

In the early stages of the Masterforce War on Earth, Devil Z would rarely use his powers himself. Instead, his power was called upon by Blood to animate the corpses of human beings, transforming them into Destroids, Terror! The Decepticons' Manhunt and to drive the animals of Africa into a stampeding rage. Panic! Protect the Wild Animals!! Devil Z did once unleash a bolt of his power upon Gilmer, however, in order to keep the grumbling Pretender in line. Go, Goshooter - Showdown in the Wasteland
Devil Z only began taking an active hand towards the end of the conflict, beginning with his possession of BlackZarak during an attack on the Decepticon base by the Autobots. With a wave of Devil Z's power, the surroundings dissolved into a red vortex, through which the Autobots were sent tumbling. The Ultimate Combination!! BlackZarak, the New Lifeform The Decepticons subsequently relocated to the Amazon jungle, where Devil Z was petitioned by Hydra and Buster to use his Devil Power to transform them into truly robotic beings. Devil Z complied, replacing the Jinchōkon that the brothers lost along with their humanity with his own Devil Power, enabling them to discharge it as bolts of deadly red lightning and to combine their individual shares into the flaming "Hellfire Attack". Devil Z began his plan for the extermination of Humanity by bombarding cities all across North America with his Devil Power, firing it into the atmosphere and raining it down in bolts as "Devil Thunder". Battle to the Death!! God Ginrai VS Darkwings Reborn The Autobots arrived to stop him, but the attempt ended in failure, and during the battle, Devil Z used his powers to separate Wilder, Cancer, Bullhorn, and Clouder from their transtectors, bringing the robot bodies to life. Autobots! Desperate Attack!!
After America, Devil Z began terrorizing Europe with his Devil Thunder from the peak of the Matterhorn, Malevolent and Inhuman! The True Form of Devil Z after which he intended to move to the South Pole and use an amplification device he had planted there to spread his Devil Thunder across the planet and wipe out Mankind. Ginrai arrived to thwart his scheme and narrowly avoided being separated from his transtector by Devil Z's power. Overlord was not so lucky, and Ginrai's righteous fury at the fate of his rival spurred him on to finish Devil Z once and for all. Bolstered by the power of the Headmaster Juniors, Ginrai's "Final Fire Guts" tore through every beam and bolt of energy that Devil Z could muster and ended the alien's life in a huge explosion of light and darkness. With Devil Z's death, however, the Autobots discovered that it was the alien's power which had forged the link between them and their transtectors. The cessation of this power caused them to be separated from their transtectors, which came to life as true super-robot lifeforms. A Battle... and Then...

Super-God Masterforce comic
When Giga and Mega drowned at sea, their bodies drifted to the bottom of the ocean trench in which Devil Z was hibernating. Seeing a use for the two humans, Devil Z used his power to resurrect them, and he charged them with finding the Godmaster transtectors hidden on Earth so that he could complete his plan to create the ultimate lifeform. After numerous failures on their part, Devil Z possessed the body of BlackZarak and used his powers to transform Hydra and Buster into true robots, intending to become the ultimate lifeform himself, but he was eventually destroyed by the united forces of the Autobots and Decepticons. With Devil Z's death, however, the energies sustaining Mega and Giga came to an end, and they joined the alien in passing on. The Birth of the Super Life-Forms
