- Known designers: Marcelo Matere (packaging artist)
- Grimlock is a redeco of the original Beast Wars Dinobot toy, transforming into a Velociraptor (or vague simulation of one, at least). His tail splits open to reveal a removable "tail bone" sword, while the rest of the tail becomes a rotating blade weapon that spins when its long plunger is pushed in. This weapon can also be stored on his back like wings, as seen in his card art above. As he uses a first-year Beast Wars Deluxe mold, he has a "mutant head" that covers his robot-mode head like a clamshell, giving him a bony skull-head appearance.
- The "tail bone" sword blade was re-cast in much softer, more pliable plastics than previous or future versions of the mold; the mold itself is also inexplicably one "segment" shorter, resulting in a blade which isn't long enough to reach its tip outside of the closed blade weapon and form the end of the tail.
- Grimlock was exclusive to Walmart stores, sold only in a two-pack with Terranotron/Swoop.

Notes
- Grimlock and the other 2003 Dinobots had no "dimension" classification until an entry of the 2015 Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime assigned the 2003 Dinobots as 2001 Robots in Disguise characters.
