"The strong warrior awakens from a long sleep!"
Synopsis
Both the Minibot Attack Team and Spy Team have excavated a mech who had been buried underground, to Warpath's surprise and Cliffjumper says they'll have to report their discovery back to the Autobot base. Cosmos gets another energy response, so they head off to check it out. Unnoticed, the mysterious mech's hand starts moving...
Finding Dinobot's body, they wonder if he's an Autobot. Said Predacon suddenly wakes up ticked off, asking what era he's in. Beachcomber notices the Predacon symbol and wonders if it's the Decepticon mark. Dinobot then proceeds to go on about wanting to find satisfaction in fighting of this era while battling the Minibots. Hot Shot, now fully awake and with his partner Jolt, retorts about Dinobot's paleolithic thinking, and goes to show off his stylish way of fighting. Both Minibot Teams join in the fight against the Velociraptor.
Eventually they fight to a standstill, both admitting warrior's respect for each other. Dinobot, now bearing the Maximal symbol, proposes they become a team and that he should be the leader. Hot Shot thinks that's unreasonable and instead suggests being friends.
Unfortunately back at base, the dinosaur-based mechs' meeting is basically asking for it (tête-à-tête, anyone?) on Dinobot wanting a duel with Grimlock (who loves to fight), much to Hot Shot's dismay and Optimus's chagrin.

Notes
- Hot Shot, Jolt, and Dinobot being found buried underground and the fact that Dinobot's Predacon insignia is not recognized may imply that the three bots are dimension and/or time travelers, in which case Hot Shot may in fact be a version of the original Unicron Trilogy Hot Shot.
