Meanwhile, their British branch, Marvel UK, also published Transformers comics, a mix of reprinted strips from the US series (occasionally slightly edited or recontextualized) and original strips primarily written by the aforementioned Simon Furman:

  • The Transformers (Marvel UK) #1-332
  • Transformers Annual 1985–1987, 1989-1992 — a yearly series of hardback books with a mix of new comics, reprinted comics, text stories and features.
  • Transformers Collected Comics (1985-1994) — a companion series, reprinting entire stories from the main Marvel UK run (hence the name), in many ways a precursor of the modern trade paperback. They were published on a semi-regular basis, usually as Summer or Winter specials.
