- The Sentinels are an Autobot subgroup from the Transformers Trading Card Game portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Sentinels are a group of Autobots who form the Combiner Optimus Maximus.

Notes
- "Sentinels" is a retroactive assignment by Wizards of the Coast for the designated lineup forming Optimus Maximus, as the Combiner Wars toyline was not heavy on team names for newly-made Combiners. Similarly-assigned names include the Disaster Relief Team for Sky Reign and the Shield of Solus for Orthia.
