SD SG
Starscream convinced Skywarp to accompany him on a "neat information retreat" to Earth, only for the Decepticons to find themselves with insufficient fuel cells. Skywarp complained to Starscream about this lack of foresight, as it would leave him unable to finish his book before their power ran out. Sure enough, their base's lights then went dark. Thankfully, a solution was at hand: Thundercracker was called in, illuminating the room with his garish color scheme. SD SG #4
Timelines
Skywarp was among the heroic Decepticons on Earth who met with Cobra liaison Xamot to discuss the captured infiltration robot Nightbird. Epilogue Two
IDW Shattered Glass comic
Among the Decepticons on Earth, Skywarp was present for the final battle of the war. He gathered with the others for Megatron's speech, then charged into battle with the others before retreating back to Cybertron with the other surviving Decepticons on Megatron's order. Shattered Glass #2 Over a megacycle after the war's end, Skywarp was given a mission by Megatron that would turn out to be his last. He was sent to infiltrate Goldbug's fortress in Gold City, teleporting in before being met in battle and slain by the diminutive Autobot warlord, who rent the Decepticon's head completely from his body before unceremoniously tossing it at the feet of the captive Starscream. Shattered Glass #4
Notes
- Skywarp first appeared on the BotCon 2008 "One Generation Shattered" lithograph in which he, like Shattered Glass Starscream (and Thundercracker on the litho), is modeled on the Cybertron Starscream toy, but in different colors. Whether the scheme was made up on the spot or is a directed reference is unknown.[1]
- By contrast, "Epilogue Two" gives Skywarp a body modeled on the Unite Warriors Ghost Starscream toy in the colors of Cybertron Skywarp.
- In IDW Publishing's comic, Skywarp is a virtual redeco of the Siege Starscream toy on Cybertron and the Earthrise Starscream toy on Earth.
