- Strike Force Alpha is an Autobot combat unit from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Strike Force Alpha was an early war combat unit of the Autobot army under the command of Optimus Prime. Gamma Squad is possibly a subunit within the team. Its known members are:

Strike Force Alpha appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
Optimus Prime led Strike Force Alpha in the defense of Iacon during the early days of the war. Hound and Pulsar were tasked with providing cover fire for the gunners, amongst whom, Tempest was tasked with seeing that the survivors of Gamma Squad got taken to Ratchet. At least one surviving member of the team was hit by Decepticon fire before Optimus Prime was called away from the fight to speak with Emirate Xaaron. And There Shall Come...a Leader!
Notes
- It is not possible to tell for certain which of the pictured Autobots is which, but the placement of the text balloons weakly seems to imply that "Big Yellow" is Pulsar, as does Optimus reminding him to provide covering fire for gunners (the blue and white robot was down among the gunners).
- While only three Autobots are namedropped by Optimus Prime, there are at least five other members of the team depicted in the panel. Fusion and Bluestreak are possibly also members of Strike Force Alpha, though they are not explicitly shown alongside the others, Optimus states that he is waiting for them to return.
