Talk:Cliffjumper (G1)
From Transformers Wiki
Very amusing, that he "hates traitors," but a bit random, perhpas? What's the context for this joke? I never knew this about him. I always thought he was one of those (many) Transformers whose personality could be described as "impulsive," "brash," etc.24.21.139.41 06:52, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- In a G1 episode called Traitor (funnily enough), Cliffjumper accuses Mirage of being a traitor on some pretty spurious evidence and becomes obsessed with this notion for the rest of the episode (even Prime's telling him to pack it in). The start of Dreamwave's second miniseries had him accusing Mirage of the same thing, and just like before the other Autobots aren't really joining him. For parts of online fandom, it's probably even more famous thanks to the parodic exaggeration of it in Transformers: World's Worst. --Ratbat 07:35, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, this wiki makes lots of jokes, but we're actually accurate with our information. Though I think it would help if somebody bothered to actually write about that episode in Cliffjumper's animated bio. Hmm, I'll see what I can do. --FFN 08:06, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- This trait's played upon pretty heavily in the Fun Publications comic, too, although we haven't gotten around to writing in anything for that yet.--G.B. Blackrock 21:30, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey in the worlds smallest line is the red repaint of bumble bee considered to be cliffjumper, with his past as a bumble bee repaint I could see this happening.
I wouldn't think so, but what do others think? ----Bumpjumper-----

Cliffjumper after 'Transformers: The Movie'
I've could of sworn I saw Cliffjumper in 'Five Faces of Darkness, Part One'. I thought I saw him and Jazz running in the backgroud behind Kup during the attack at the intergalactic olympics.
Of course, it's being a long time ago since I saw that episode and I didn't notice Windcharger (I didn't know about him being in 'FFOD, Pt. 1' until recently).
- Cliffjumper appeared very briefly in "Five Faces of Darkness, Part One", during the beginning flashback sequence which recapped the 1986 movie. However, other than this, Cliffjumper did not appear at all during the third season, despite the fact that he survived the events of the movie. I didn't see him at the intergalatctic olympics, though.
G2 Cliffjumper Toy?
I could swear that when I was younger, I had a cliffjumper toy (this was between '92 and '94) that was a redeco of bumblebee. I specifically remember it, because I had both of them and took them everywhere with me since they were two of my favorite characters (and I could easily fit them in my pockets, too). Is it possible that it was released in limited quantities?
- You're probably thinking of the G2 Hubcap toy. There never was a G2 Cliffjumper, nor was Cliffjumper ever a repaint of Bumblebee until the Classics toy came about in 2006. --Detour 07:05, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Ah... that would explain it. Why the hell didnt they just release cliffjumper instead? I mean, I dont even remember hubcap...
Mini-Bust
I've wanted to make this his mini-bust pic caption for a while:

If I don't hear any objections, can I consider that a "go ahead a change it"?--67.142.174.22 22:57, 27 September 2010 (EDT)
- No. Also, we don't typically approve of people adding captions before they start making real contributions. --NCZ 23:06, 27 September 2010 (EDT)
Listen 'N' Fun
Just ganked this picture from an ebay auction. Has anyone else seen or heard of a red CJ coming with the tape before? If so, why isn't it mentioned on the page? --Khajidha 17:32, 11 March 2011 (EST)
HOF
Cliffjumper is explicitly not in the Hall of Fame. Aaron preceded his trbiute film during the event by saying that this was NOT an induction. I know he had a case with his toys in it. -LV 00:51, 9 June 2011 (EDT)

He had one, right? That one started the whole "Bumblebee redecoed into Cliffjumper" trend?--Nevermore 19:34, 8 November 2011 (EST)
- Google says yes. --ItsWalky 19:42, 8 November 2011 (EST)
