Are we certain that Slug and Strafe are separate guys from the WFC versions? And of which Grimlock liberated them? And I'm sure you're in the middle of this, but these 2 pages aren't linked up yet. Chip (talk) 12:17, 30 August 2016 (EDT)

Given that Robots in Disguise (2015) has featured multiple obviously separate characters, that Japan never got any decent amount of FoC fiction, and that these two Adventure guys share nothing in common besides general alt-mode with the FoC guys, it is most reasonable to classify them as separate characters.
