Becca's Island, also known as A.L.I.E.'s Island, is located off the northeast coast of what was the United States. It is east of New Jersey and south of Long Island (New York). It is also 210 miles from Polis.
Before the Nuclear Apocalypse, this island was used by Becca and her team for the A.L.I.E. project. The island was also owned by Becca's company, the Infinity Corporation. Afterwards, it was used by A.L.I.E and her followers. After A.L.I.E. is destroyed, a team of Sky People led by Abigail Griffin use the island to research Nightblood.
Mansion
Located inland, this pristine three-story building was used by Becca Franko and her team while designing the artificial intelligence, A.L.I.E.[1] It is equipped with holographic technology, which allowed A.L.I.E to project a hologram of her avatar anywhere inside.[1] The Mansion has modern 21st century technology and a swimming pool. There are drones that usually hover over the building.
After determining that A.L.I.E. was too dangerous, Becca used the mansion to confine the AI until Jaha unwittingly delivered her the means to leave.
The mansion is first seen in "Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2)", after Jaha follows A.L.I.E.'s drone. In "Wanheda (Part 1)", Murphy finds his way to the mansion after being released from the lighthouse bunker.
When Abby's group were on the Island, Murphy, Emori, and Clarke used the mansion.
In "From the Ashes", the mansion is in one of the drawings made by Madi in her sketchbook.
Lighthouse
In a flashback in "Thirteen", Becca tells Chris to hide in the lighthouse bunker. In the video shown in "Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2)", Chris records his last words and suicide while he's in the bunker. In another video seen in "Wanheda (Part 1)," two men removed Chris' body from the bunker and intended to survive in it themselves. They never returned, suggesting that they died somehow after leaving.
John Murphy is trapped in the lighthouse bunker from the end of "Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2)" to "Wanheda (Part 1)."
In "The Chosen," Murphy reveals that he and Emori intend to survive the Second Nuclear Apocalypse in the lighthouse bunker, knowing that they are unlikely to be allowed to stay in the Second Dawn Bunker. Bellamy Blake warns that the lighthouse bunker isn't stocked and the two won't last five months let alone five years, but Murphy thinks they have a better chance than in the Second Dawn bunker either way. When Clarke decides to have the group go to the remnants of the Ark in space instead, part of her plan is to use the lighthouse bunker's oxygen generator to replace the Ark's failed life support system. The generator is removed in "Praimfaya" and supports Spacekru on the Ark for six years.
In "Eden," after the Second Nuclear Apocalypse, the remains of the lighthouse can be seen off in the distance when Clarke emerges from underground.
Lab
Becca's laboratory is located in the middle of the island. It consisted of six levels and ten different areas, including an office, radiation chamber and many other things.
Abby's team – consisting of her, Jackson, Raven, Murphy, Emori, Miller, Luna, and a couple Guards – were amazed by the inside of the lab.
In the lab, there is a rocket named Vesta IV which can be used to simulate a space mission. The rocket is later used by Spacekru to go to the Go-Sci Ring to escape Praimfaya.
The concrete entrance of the lab was destroyed by the death wave. Clarke Griffin managed to get into the lab as the death wave hit which appeared to shield her from the direct effects of the wave. She emerged from underground 42 days later able to survive in the irradiated world due to her Nightblood.
Satellite Communications Tower
A tower with multiple satellite dishes used to send signals into space. Its use presumably had something to do with Polaris as the name is on the bottom of the inside cover of the box on the bottom of the tower.
In "Praimfaya," Raven Reyes realizes that they can use the tower to power up the Ark in space in the limited time that they have. Clarke Griffin reaches the tower, but without the time to send the signal and return to the rocket before the death wave hits. When Clarke initially tries to send the signal using the SAT-STAR 1 dish as instructed by Raven, she discovers that the dish is misaligned and is forced to climb the tower and realign the dish by hand. Clarke eventually manages to get the dish realigned, but the computer is fried by the approaching death wave before she can see if the signal was successfully sent. Clarke barely reaches the bottom of the tower before the death wave hits, falling and cracking her helmet, resulting in Clarke being radiation burned as she rushes back to the lab.
Unknown to Clarke, she did succeed in sending the signal to power the Ark up using the tower, allowing her friends to enter the abandoned Ring. Despite being unable to leave due to her work at the tower, Clarke ultimately survives due to her Nightblood.
