The first season of Viking Skool premiered internationally on May 6, 2022 on France Television's platform, Okoo,[2] and premiered on November 23, 2022 in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Disney+.[3]
Synopsis
Viking Skool has trained the best of the best to be future leaders. Teens Ylva, Erik and Arni are three friends brought together at Viking Skool. They're long shots at becoming Vikings. Bound together by their outlier status, their friendship will only grow as they meet the challenges that await them. Our three heroes will show what the true Viking heart and soul looks like. They’ll show us that bravery isn’t easy but necessary, loyalty is important but honesty more so, and friendship, is the glue that gets us through life.

| After spending years in the forest, Ylva is still having trouble adjusting to "civilization. She feels particularly challenged in Ms. Tendon's "diplomacy" class. But after learning that Olaf Fourchebarbe himself was the founder of the club, Erik is more eager than ever to follow in his grandfather's footsteps... even though Olaf's attitude in the club was far from heroic![18] | ||||||

| Erik decides to remedy his lack of skill and the shame he feels about it by going to the forest to exercise. He attracts the attention of the outlaw, Vargir. Vargir plays a trick on him that ends up having serious repercussions: for his own benefit, he manages to convince Erik and then the whole school that he is a distant member of the Fourcherbarbe family, and therefore more worthy than Erik to be considered Olaf's heir! The proof: he can make the Fourcherbarbe sword glow at will. According to the school rules, Erik's place is rightfully taken by Vargir - outlaw or not.[20] | ||||||
