Nice job. I guess Wheeler's sorry he messed with Ada Tucker now.Tucker telling Deacon after Wheeler's death.
Ada Tucker is an anti-villainous supporting character in the 2019 video game Days Gone. She is a former prison warden in Oregon, who later works as the leader of Hot Springs Camp, after the apocalypse of the Freakers destroyed all of human civilisation.
However, despite her elderly demeanour, Tucker is infamous for running the Hot Springs Camp like a labour camp and treat its residents like slaves, which often gained the ire of several outsiders including Lost Lake Camp's leader Iron Make and former resident Lisa Jackson.
Tucker is voiced by DeeDee Rescher.
Appearance
Probably in her late 60s or early 70s, Tucker is an older woman. She has short greying hair and grey eyes. Her typical attire consists of an inside-out maroon shirt, a scarf, and a blue denim jacket. She is dressed in brown boots and cargo shorts.
In the mission "You Can't Do This Alone," her right-hand Alkai Turner claims that Tucker's poor physical health may be attributed due to her age.
Personality
She may have a soft-spoken façade, but she is actually a strict camp leader who treats her residents like slaves. She lives by the maxim that everyone must work for their living, which she learned while serving as a prison warden. Even after going to great lengths to track down Lisa, she was unable to do so because of Deacon's efforts.
Tucker is a helpful individual who is prepared to assist Deacon St. John on his missions, despite her assertive leadership style.
Background
Past
Prior to the Freaker Apocalypse in 2017, Tucker was in charge of a prison facility in Oregon that housed female convicts. As the future commander of Hot Springs Camp, she would thereafter defend the tenet that everyone must work hard to earn their stay.
Days Gone
Tucker is in charge of the Hot Springs Camp, a camp that is, in reality, used for forced labour. She hires Deacon to locate any survivors and bring in new labour for the camp. Iron Mike, the head of the Lost Lake Camp, saw Deacon bringing in the camp's survivors to Tucker, and Deacon's cunning plan to compel them into employment was quickly thwarted.
It was then revealed that Lisa was one of the former occupants and employees that Tucker had forcibly hired. Lisa had previously been her neighbour, but she eventually managed to flee after learning that the camp was actually a slave camp.
Later, due to her deteriorating physical condition, Tucker decided not to participate in a retaliatory attack on Wizard Island, which was planned by Deacon and Boozer, after the Deschutes County Militia attempted to attack the survivors up north, starting from Lost Lake Camp. Alkai would afterwards join the battle for Tucker.
