Agency Against Hank Wimbleton

The Agency Against Hank Wimbleton, abbreviated as A.A.H.W., also known as the Agency, are the main antagonists of the Madness Combat series, and the secondary antagonists of the spin-off video game duology, Madness: Project Nexus.

True to its name, the A.A.H.W.'s goal is to take out Hank J. Wimbleton, as well as anyone else who opposes its campaign for complete domination of Nevada, such as Sanford and Deimos.

The Sheriff was apparently the leader of the Agency from Madness Combat 2 to Madness Combat 3. After he was taken out, the Auditor took charge around the time of Madness Combat 5. Under his leadership, the Agents were upgraded. New ranks such as the Accelerated Training Program products and Mag Agents also arose.

Jesus and Tricky both used to be employees of A.A.H.W. until the latter assassinated the former. Upon being revived, Jesus rebelled against the organization and the Auditor, while Tricky left to continue his vengeance against Hank.

Grunts

Grunts are the lowest ranked units of the A.A.H.W.. They appear more commonly in earlier episodes as the most common combatants, but after the death of the Sheriff, they were gradually supplemented by higher-ranking members of A.A.H.W. such as the Agents and A.T.P. Program operatives.

Elite Bodyguards

A trio of three unique Grunts that served as the Sheriff's personal bodyguards, the Elite Bodyguards were called upon after the activation of the Improbability Drive, but were all swiftly killed by Hank. Since their first appearance, this class of Grunts hasn't appeared again, as they become the predecessor of the Agents.

An elite unit of soldiers that later replace Grunts as the new main forces, Agents dress in black business suits and wear black shades. Later on, they are upgraded by the Auditor into l33t Agents, with their shades' colors changing from black to red.

A.T.P. Engineers

A.T.P. Engineers are high-ranking soldiers of A.A.H.W. They are genetically altered super soldiers that shed yellow blood and are characterized by the gray face masks they wear. As their name suggests, they possess knowledge of engineering, as well as leadership over lesser-ranking A.A.H.W. personnel and enhanced mental capabilities. They are extremely disciplined, always working in teams and never back down from a fight, even if the odds are against them. Most Engineers are heavily armed and carry extra ammo.

Later on, a pair of Engineers were enhanced by the new dark powers of the Auditor. Faint black flames appeared around their heads and their eyes turned red and glowing. After they were sent to kill Sanford and Deimos, they succeeded in killing the latter and wounding the former. Two Engineers regrouped outside, but died when Hank, who had just been resurrected and undergone transformation into a Half-Mag form, threw a tube containing an explosive substance at them. Despite dying, these two gained the Auditor's gunfighting skills, the ability to dodge bullets, and great intelligence. They were able to work as a team very well, using hand signs to communicate.

A.T.P. Soldats are one of the two upgrades of Agents and products of the Accelerated Training Program along with Engineers. They differ from Engineers in that they wear yellow eyepieces instead of masks and have more specialized fighting skills and physical fitness.

Mag Agents

Agents that have been magnified to about 2.5 times their normal size by A.A.H.W.'s Agent Magnification Chamber. They carry large weapons proportional to their size, as regular weapons are too small for them to wield. Several types of Mag Agents have been produced, starting with Torture.

Retainers

The highest-ranking soldiers of the A.A.H.W., only outranking by the Auditor himself, Retainers are Half-Mag espers who mainly reside in The Other Place as its guardians. They uses psionics and telekinesis to fight enemies and retain S-3LFs.

A.A.H.W. Half-Mags

Appearing only in MADNESS: Project Nexus, A.A.H.W. Half-Mags are similar to Retainers except that the former do not possess psionics and telekinesis. They rely on their pure strength and fists to attack enemies, and are capable of throwing a powerful charged punch that causes them charge at the _target in front of them.
