AirMan.EXE

AirMan.EXE is one of the antagonists of the Mega Man Battle Network/NT Warrior series. He was one of MegaMan.EXE's rivals and a partner of Arashi Kazefuki.

Mega Man Battle Network

Lan and MegaMan first encounter AirMan when attempting to fix Yai's ventilation system, discovering that he and Arashi were responsible for the dangerous gas. They initially order AirMan to stop, though Arashi notifies them that AirMan only takes order from him before ordering him to attack Lan and MegaMan. He loses this battle, and while Arashi is implied to have died as punishment for failure, AirMan appears again in the end of the game. In this appearance, however, his AI is directly controlled by Gospel to delete MegaMan. He does not appear again in the series.

Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge

AirMan participates in the Battle Chip GP.

Mega Man NT Warrior

AirMan's role in the anime was the same, but was used by Arashi to get revenge on Yai Ayanokoji for her father's company outdoing his company. Upon being unleashed by Arashi at the subway, AirMan unleashed dangerous gas (edited as hot steam) in Yai's bathroom while she was taking a bath. Lan managed to delete AirMan and Arashi was arrested by Commander Beef (who managed to track down Arashi) and the authorities.

AirMan later resurfaced in a plan to get revenge on MegaMan only to become the first victim of the Gospel Virus Beast. After the Gospel Virus Beast was no more, AirMan was restored.

MegaMan NT Warrior Axess

While AirMan doesn't make an appearance, his name can be seen in the top 10 ranking from the game in episode 41, suggesting that he may have been kidnapped by Allegro.

Rockman.EXE Stream

In Stream, a different AirMan was an Asteroid Navi created by Slur. Slur gives Asteroid AirMan to an elderly General from Creamland. The general then attempts to copy the Asteroid AirMan data to create an army for himself. The old general dies from his efforts when things get out of hand, and it's left up to KnightMan.EXE and Cross Fusion Raika to take care of what's left behind.

Abilities

  • Air Blast: AirMan fires an explosion that travels down the row.
  • Triple Tornado: AirMan summons three tornadoes on all three rows. The tornadoes then travel down at different speeds, with a gap for the player to dodge them.
  • Double Tornado: When AirMan has less than half of its HP MAX he can use this attack, he summons two tornadoes on the player's area, and these tornadoes will move towards the player's current location.
