Alexander Hugo, also known as Chop Shop Alex, Alexander the "Not So" Great, and Alex Hu "Don't" Go, is a minor antagonist of the Pixar's 12th full-length animated feature film, Cars 2.

Alexander is a Lemon who is part of the Hugo crime family who works for Professor Zündapp.

He was voiced by Velibor Topic.

Description

"Alexander Hugo is not who you think he is. He is also known as Chop Shop Alex and Alexander the Not-So-Great, among other names. He's got a rap sheet a mile long and connections to the Hugo organized crime family. He's currently wanted in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Serbia, so check his rap sheet before you go anywhere with him."

Alexander is one of the Lemons belonging to the Hugo family, led by Victor Hugo. He's also good friends with his master's tow truck and servant, Ivan.

History

Cars 2

Alexander first appears outside the Porto Corsa casino, waiting for his boss. As Holley Shiftwell tricks them by claiming to need help for her grandfather, Alexander argues with Ivan to help her but eventually lets the truck do so. As the agent and Ivan leave, Mater takes on the appearance of Ivan and escorts Victor Hugo into the casino, surrounded by Alexander and the other Hugos.

Alexander is the first to find that "Ivan" is acting weird, and Mater accidentally exposes the places where the henchman is wanted, which bothers him and tells him to be quiet. At the party to celebrate the Lemons' victory, Alexander is surprised that "Ivan" already wants to leave when he asks him if he is enjoying the party.

Alexander likely appears among the Lemons surrounding Mater, Lightning McQueen, Finn McMissile, and Holley Shiftwell on the verge of killing them. He was presumably arrested as his mates after the fight, either by the Sheriff and London Police or by Sarge accompanied by the British Army.

Personality

Like all the other Lemons, Alexander Hugo is a cold-hearted terrorist who would do anything for a quick buck.

He was a sadistic jerk when he with the lemons try to kill McQueen and Mater, and a coward depending on his fate.

• Alexander Hugo has not been released in his "main" appearance in the 1:55 Scale Diecast line, as his only release features a party hat.
• When Mater scans him, it is shown that Alexander is wanted in Serbia. The Hugo's basis, Zastava Yugo, was manufactured there.
