Androbots are robotic combatants spawned by the members of Hakaider Squad and recurring antagonists in the Tokusatsu TV series Kikaider 01, the sequel to Android Kikaider.
They are mostly red with yellow scarves. Their main weapon is a double-sided, lightning-shaped naginata.
History
A group of Androbots were summoned by the four members of Hakaider Squad after they assembled and were sent out to capture Akira, the son of Professor Gill, who had the schematics for the war machine known as "Giant Devil" tattooed on his back by his father. The Androbots assisted the Hakaider Squad in chasing down Akira, only for a new android known as Kikaider 01 to suddenly appear and fight them off. As 01 was distracted saving Rieko from Blue Hakaider however, the Androbots were able to nab Akira and bring him back to the Hakaider Squad's base. Suspecting that 01 would follow them there and come for Akira, Hakaider instructed the Androbots to be on high alert. Kikaider 01 soon tracked down the Hakaider Squad's base and fought his way through the Androbots and Hakaider Squad to rescue Akira, destroying the base's control panel before leaving with the child.
A large of group of Androbots were later assembled by the Hakaider Squad as Hakaider declared that, since their original Hakaider base was destroyed by Kikaider 01, they needed to build a new base and sent the Androbots forth to gather materials.
