Avarith is a minor antagonist that appears in Dragon Quest XI.
She is voiced by Ryūsei Nakao in the Japanese version, and by Tuyen Do in the English version.
Biography
Avarith appears after the fall of the World Tree, which is caused by Mordegon.She than forced the people in Phnom Nonh to give up their most valuable things, which includes family members. She than take those to a cave and lock them up in cages. When the Luminary and his party returns to Phnom Nonh, a man told them that his son has gone missing. The Luminary than found him near Avarith's cave, as he is trying to help his dad to reclaim the necklace for his deceased mum, which is offered by his dad to Avarith. Avarith than notice the Luminary and hold him hostage after finding that he had nothing to offer, than, Sylvando, one of the member of Luminary's party offered something to Avarith to release the Luminary. After releasing the Luminary, Avarith realized that Sylvando gave him a pile of cow dung. Thus causing an angry Avarith to attack Luminary. Despite casting Fizzle to not allow the party to use any spell, she still ended up getting defeated and killed.
Appearance
Avarith is a pink dragon that hold a sceptre with skull on it. She also speaks with a heavy lisp.
