Cassandra Nova's Crew, also known as the Pruned Brotherhood Of The Mutants, are the main antagonists of the 2024 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Deadpool & Wolverine.

They are a group of the pruned mutant supervillains led by Cassandra Nova who live in the Void.

History

Background

After being pruned by TVA and sent to the Void, Cassandra Nova Xavier build a community of other Void survivors based in Giant-Man's corpse.

Deadpool & Wolverine

After being informed by Paradox that the new variants (that being Deadpool and Wolverine) arrived at the Void, Cassandra Nova sends the crew to retrieve the variants. When Deadpool and Wolverine teamed up after their first showdown, the crew arrived and was able to capture both of them along with Johnny Storm/The Human Torch and put them in the compound.

After delivering them to Cassandra in the Giant-Man fortress, Cassandra killed Johnny by telepathically skinning him alive when Deadpool revealed that Johnny trash-talked her in the compound (which is confirmed in the post-credit scene). Cassandra provokes Wolverine by taunting him about Charles Xavier, then she mind-rapes Deadpool as well as planting a false memory of Deadpool's break-up with Vanessa. The fight ensues as Deadpool and Wolverine tried to kill Cassandra, though their efforts went in vain when she regenerates her injures thanks to her telepathic powers, although the fight was interrupted by Alioth, a cosmic being, who came to devour sacrificial variants. Deadpool and Wolverine escaped from Alioth's attack.
