Cheetah (DC Animated Movie Universe)

Cheetah is a minor antagonist in Justice League vs. Teen Titans, and a major antagonist of Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. She is a supervillain woman, first member of the Legion of Doom then of Villainy Inc. She is also the archenemy of Wonder Woman.

She was voiced by Kimberly Brooks in Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, who also voiced Giganta in the same movie.

Biography

Justice League vs. Teen Titans

Cheetah is part of the Legion of Doom members attacking the Hall of Justice. She fights against Wonder Woman and manages to give him several shots while dodging those of the Amazon before attracting her to a parking lot. Hiding in the dark, Cheetah sneakily attacks Wonder Woman and manages to scratch her back but before she can flee again, her sworn enemy catches her with his lasso and sends her crashing into a car, knocking her out.

The Death of Superman

She does not appear in the film but a hologram of her is used during a training of Wonder Woman and Superman.

Wonder Woman: Bloodlines

When Diana, Steve Trevor and Etta Candy arrived outside Pasiphae temple to find the location of Themyscira, Cheetah had already arrived before them. A fight begins between the feline and the fallen princess while Steve and Etta go to the temple, which does not interest Cheetah who _targets only Wonder Woman. After a hard fight, Cheetah succeeded in scratching Diana's cheek before getting hit and then buried under pillars by the Amazon.

Trapped but not reluctantly defeated, Cheetah reveals that she has joined a criminal organization made up of the worst enemies of Wonder Woman - a Villains Incorporated - before injecting herself with a serum which transforms her into a stronger and wilder version of herself. Now even more and having acquired a speed higher than his old enemy, Cheetah takes the advantage over Wonder Woman, inflicting several injuries to her.

Mocking the Amazon for being too slow, Cheetah charges her again but it turns out to be her loss when Wonder Woman manages to throw her in the invisible jet, before locking it from the inside to limit her speed. A moment later, Cheetah is tied up and resumed her normal form before being left there by Wonder Woman.

Annoyed Cheetah cries to Diana that she has no right to leave her like that until the Lasso of Truth forces her to admit that she totally deserves her situation. Cheetah is apparently delivered to authorities after that.

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War

Two years after the Justice League's failed invasion of Apokolips, Cheetah is seen on Stryker's Island in Metropolis, now a member of the Suicide Squad which is led by Harley Quinn after the death of Amanda Waller. Cheetah escorts Robin and Raven to a medbay, so they can talk in private; before leaving, Cheetah wryly smiled at the teen love.

Cheetah, along with the rest of her team, join the remaining Justice League's efforts in destroying Apokolips, accompanying them to LexCorp to fight their way to the boom tube.

During the fight against LexCorp's many soldiers, Cheetah is eventually gunned down as the group make their way to the top floor where the boom tube is located.

Personality

Cheetah is a sadistic opponent, taking pleasure in hurting Wonder Woman when she fights against her.

She is also sneaky and cheat, using a serum to gain strength when she realizes that she was losing the battle.

As shown via the Lasso of Truth, Cheetah is aware that her actions are wrong, and accepts that she deserves the consequences they bought,

Trivia

  • She is with Giganta and Veronica Cale, one of the only surviving members of Villainy Inc since Doctor Cyber and Dr Poison were killed by Medusa and that Silver Swan defected.
