The Corrupted are a species of that appear to serve for the Fell Dragon Sombron in Fire Emblem Engage.

Biography

Corrupted are soilders who were brought back to life by a Fell Dragon's Powers. They show no thoughts or emotions apart from aggression. Whoever revives them serves them with the main acception being Alear when Veyle brought them back to life. Though most Corrupted mostly just make growling noises, powerful Corrupted created by Veyle look and act the same as they were in life. When Sombron absorbed the power of the twelve Emblem Rings, he can also make powerful Corrupted similar to Veyle's. After Sombron's defeat the Corrupted were all killed off.

Fell Xenologue

In an Alternate Elyos, the Corrupted replaced the entire human population with Nel, Nil, and the Four Winds being the only living beings left. The "human" Corrupted were unaware of their undead status and believed to be actual living humans. Still obtaining their memories of events that happened prior to the Fell Xenologue. After the group collected a bracelet from Fierene and Brodia, Nel returned to those two kingdoms to kill the Corrupted soilders and royals. After the events of the Fell Xenologue the Corrupted were killed off and Alear felt the alternate Elyos with remaining survivors to the mainline Elyos leaving the alternate Elyos a dead world.

Trivia

  • Corrupted share some similarities to the Risen from Fire Emblem Awakening:
    • Both are made by a Fell Dragon.
    • Both show no emotions.
    • Both are undead soilders.
  • In the Fell Xenologue if a player is equipped with a weapon powerful against Corrupted all enemy units have a Corrupted icom.
