Doctor Slone is a major character in the Fortnite franchise, serving as the secondary antagonist of the second half of Chapter 2, the main antagonist of the first half of Chapter 3, and a major protagonist of the second half of Chapter 4 after she left the Imagined Order.
She was a member of the Imagined Order's Inner Circle, taking orders from Geno. She acted as the main operator of The Bridge albeit a brilliant inventor. She is also the former boss and archenemy of Agent Jones, as well as a major enemy to The Seven.
She is voiced by Mara Junot.
Personality
Slone is described as a very intelligent and cunning individual, showing extreme loyalty to the Imagined Order and doing everything to carry out any of their plans. She also is quite intelligent (preparing for many scenarios and generally being shown to be on top of things and in the know), arrogant, and cruel (treating the loopers as nothing but cannon fodder). She seems holds a high hatred for The Seven and John Jones. She also doesn't care for the Island or the loopers at all, willing to use The Collider to kill everyone and start over. In truth, Slone is much nicer than she seems. However, once the Order was gone for good, she revealed her true self. It turned out she was not the monster that she was shown to be and only obeyed orders even if it went against her morals, believing the convictions of the Imagined Order were right and set out to protect it by all means. She did everything to protect Islanders of the impending doom when the Reality was about to collapse while in the meantime formidable enemies were on their way to annihilate them.
Biography
Chapter 2: Season 5-Chapter 2: Season 6
Slone isn't seen during the season, but is heard giving orders to Jones through a phone.
Chapter 2: Season 7
When the aliens invade, Slone works with the player to stop them. When Operation: Sky Fire happens, Slone succeeds in destroying the Mothership, but leaves the loopers she sent on the Mothership to die after finding out cubes are on that ship.
Chapter 2: Season 8
Slone is stationed on the island. In the End, she is seen torturing Jones in a chamber on the bridge, along with Gunnar and an unnamed IO officer. The Foundation then enters the chamber, much to Slone's surprise, as she initially thought The Foundation was dead. The Foundation then knocks out the unnamed IO officer and Gunnar, frees Jones, and locks Slone in the chamber.
Chapter 3: Season 2
Here, Slone leads a war against the Seven, being seen on The Fortress for the majority of the season, but is at the Collider towards the the end of the season. In the Collision event, The Paradigm and a squad of loopers attack the Collider as tanks, vehicles resembling The Fortress, and brutes to attack them, but they all fail in the end. When the mech is about to destroy The Collider, it fails underground, as Jones and The Foundation save the loopers, while The Paradigm fixes the mech. As Slone is waiting for them in a titan tank, the loopers, Foundation, and Jones come face to face with Slone. Jones tries to reason with her, only for her to try to kill them. The Paradigm comes in with the mech and crushes Slone's tank, possibly killing her. The group then destroys the Collider, saving the island.
Chapter 4: Season 1
Slone survived all this time as a minor character, gravely injured in her tank before being caught by The Zero Point, which took her to Asteria, where she would end up trapped in the Jungle beneath the Island. However, she was later saved by Relik who helped her recover from her injuries. She then began to study the jungle and the ruins of the ancient civilization that inhabited it. While locked up in the Jungle she recorded several audio logs of her findings. Her stay at death's door changed her profoundly, she seems to have definitively turned the page on the Imagined Order.
Chapter 4: Season 3
When the center part of the Island collapses and revealed the jungle, she worked with the Explorers to study the Rumble Ruins, the murals, the glyph as well as to repair and power up The Apparatus. With Optimus Prime guiding her and the warnings of The Ancients, the people who owned these ruins, Slone came up with a plan to save the Island, as the reality was doomed to collapse and formidable enemies were approaching, the first enemy being announced by The Ancients thanks to murals, as well as the projection of an incoming Eclipse though the Apparatus, that turned out to be a Stellar Projector.
Chapter 4: Season 4
With Optimus Prime's wise words, made Slone come to a conclusion, they had to return in the past and use the Zero Point of that time to create a new Big Bang, in order to create a new home reality for Islander. Slone contacted Nolan Chance, a professional heister, to help for the ultimate heist, to steal Kado's time machine. She also recruited The Looper for the heist. Nolan and The Looper managed to get Antonia, Fish Thicc, Piper Pace, Mae, and Khaby to join for the heist.
About nearly two months later, during Fortnitemares 2023, the Eclipsed Estate Heist ended in failure, with the crew being ambushed by Kado in his Revenant form, forcing them to retreat. Fortunately, the crew was able to successfully steal the Time Machine from Kado, due to The Looper and the Vampire Hunter Shimmerdusk taking him out.
They stashed it away in Frenzy Fields, right outside of the barn Nolan transformed as a base for secret operations. Slone and Jones started to experiment on the time machine. Slone and Jones brought many items from a Season 5 Time Period. Eventually, the time machine and Jones time traveled in the past, in an alternative timeline (to avoid changing out future) to carry out the mission.
