Doubledealer is a minor antagonist in Generation One of the Transformers franchise, based on a figure from the 1988 toyline. He is the main antagonist of the Marvel UK story "(Double)deal of the Century".
Marvel Comics
Doubledealer was unique in that he had joined both the Autobots and the Decepticons. In his Decepticon guise, using the name Dealer, he intercepted the Autobot courier Chainclaw, kidnapping him and also stealing the battle plans from Cybertron that he had been about to deliver to Optimus Prime and the Race Car Patrol. Doubledealer then contacted Optimus Prime and demanded energon in return for both Chainclaw and the plans.
Doubledealer next approached Optimus Prime in his Autobot guise, using the name Double. He claimed to have been Chainclaw's partner and offered to make the trade. Optimus Prime gave him the energon for the exchange. Doubledealer then went to Earth Decepticon commander Scorponok, together with Weirdwolf and Mindwipe, and sold him the plans in exchange for more energon.
Doubledealer returned Chainclaw to the Autobots and told them the Decepticons had double-crossed them and kept both the plans and the energon. This led to Optimus Prime leading an attack on an oblivious Scorponok. Having obtained energon from both the Autobots and the Decepticons and set them at each other's throat, Doubledealer cheerily departed the scene.

Trivia
- Doubledealer is presented as a Powermaster in the toyline, with his two modes needing different Nebulan partners. This was ignored in his Marvel appearance.
- Doubledealer finally appeared in the War for Cybertron cartoon where he is voiced by Michael Schwalbe.
- Clouder, a character in Super-God Masterforce, is both an Autobot and Decepticon Godmaster and is a recolor of Doubledealer. But he used Doubledealer’s colors in the anime rather than his toy.
- All of his toys classified him as a Decepticon despite being a whichever himself in fictions. However, Doubleclouder classified him as an Autobot despite being a Decepticon himself in the anime.
